New Flamingo Painting
When I was around 9 or ten I was obsessed with flamingos. All the decor in my room was flamingo, and I doodled them all day. I guess this painting is an homage to my childhood. I really enjoyed painting this guy and plan to do more soon. Check out my ETSY shop for more paintings and info.

I just found this adorable bag at world market. I went in for the big one but they were out so I got the small one and love it. They have lots of affordable unique accessories.
Surf Artist Matt Beard
I hope you enjoy these beautiful paintings by Matt Beard. He is a surf artist from Humbolt County California( I used to live there too) who specializes in green luminous waves and serene coastlines. I love his rich but soft use of color. His paintings seem so dreamy and magical to me. See his site here for more info.
Claire Scully: Artist of the Day
What a talented illustrator Claire Scully is. Her images are mesmerizing. The amount of detail that goes into each piece is something I definitely don't have the patience for. Please visit her website here to see more of her great work.
Girl With A Surfboard Friday
I thought it would be fun to start a tradition of posting a great photo of a girl with a surfboard every Friday. It may inspire some of you this summer to get out there and surf that weekend. I wish we had some waves this weekend here maybe I'll just go for a paddle. Enjoy!

Surfside Organic
I thought I would share this beautiful surfside palette I found over at Coco and Kelly . I'm crazy about the driftwood table and Chandelier. Check out all the sources here.
New Painting
This was a fun painting to do. Feet are difficult for me but practice makes perfect right?

Kompany Lighting
While checking out the latest issue of Lonny Mag yesterday I saw these beautiful Lamps and sconces by Kompany. We have lots of those horseshoe crabs here on the beach and I have always thought they were so beautiful. I want to try and clean, dry and paint one silver for the wall this summer. Probably a gross process but what have I got to lose?
Honduras Adventure
We just returned from our trip to the Bay Islands of Honduras. We went to one of the lesser known islands called Guanaja which is next to Roaton which most people have heard of. We had a great time chowing on lobsters and enjoying the clear water. I think I got a few ideas for paintings as well. I'll keep you posted on that.
P.S. That's the hubby in the sun gear at the bottom.
