I have always loved garage sales even as a little girl. My mom used to take me to them and it was so exciting to see what treasure you could find. When I was visiting her in Oregon a few weeks ago I made the rounds to a few of my favorite thrift stores. I found this silver plated brass peanut which I instantly fell in love with. Don't ask me why but it just made me smile when I saw it, and at a price tag of $9 it was a cheap thrill. I googled brass peanut today and look what I found on Mecox Gardens site. My peanut selling for $395. Major score!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think I can part with it but maybe someday for that price I could.
