Well, between having constant company in town and painting I have been a little MIA lately. I was commissioned to paint four tarpon for an upcoming fishing tournament at the Ford Plantation in Richmond Hill, Georgia called the "Silva Dolla" Tarpon tournament. I can say that I sure have learned a lot about painting tarpon. I thought it would be easier to paint 4 of basically the same paintings but it was actually harder to get them to match. I painted the one below at first when we were going to do 4 different paintings but then decided to make four similar so there would be no fighting over who got what. I think I would like to try to paint a few abstract tarpon next. I may try to create a print of one of these to put on my ETSY shop so check back soon if you are interested.
